chven.us is a Fediverse instance that uses the ActivityPub protocol. In other words, users at this host can communicate with people that use software like Mastodon, Pleroma, Friendica, etc. all around the world.

This server runs the snac software and there is no automatic sign-up process.

    Just learned about audiomo and decided to try it. I want to record a minute or 2 with my son every day. We don't have a plan. I'll just start recording and talk a little. We're preparing for an international move in the middle of this month, so these recordings could be interesting (for future us, at least.)

      AudioMo is really simple: just record a piece of audio every day and post it with the hashtag . It can be ambient sound, speech, music... anything. Don't worry about it being good enough or if you miss a day, it's just for fun πŸ™‚

        Righty. Lets kick off the then. And lets start with the unfortunate noise of whats Estonian Spring like now. Instead of birds and nice spring vibes, we get iced rain and dripping eaves. Enjoy this with me for 5 minutes.

        Alt...Stereo recording with a constant sloshing like dripping on the right from the eaves. And hard smacks above, when ice falls on the plastic roof of our porch. There are cars driving by and an occasional train gives its toot in to the mix.
