I've been reading at mnmlist.com and it reminded me of how much I don't like clutter. It also reminded me of the time in 2011 when I sold or trashed or gave away a lot of things. It felt good to be free of all of this stuff. If I wanted to leave and go somewhere else (for example, across the world to Georgia), I wouldn't have to worry so much about packing and moving everything or putting everything into storage.
I've decided that I want to try something like this again. This time is different though. Now I'm married and we have our toddler son. While I'm sure I can find some things of mine that I don't really need, I can't just throw out some of my wife's clothes or my son's toys.
So, my plan is to clean the apartment every Sunday and try to find something we don't need or to try to come up with some way to cut back on wasteful products. I'll probably try to sell some things or possibly donate.
Just as an example, one way I've decided to cut back on waste is to buy some cloth napkins. I think I might update this post with new ideas that we come up with.
